Description Serge Lussier 2012-02-08 16:55:19 UTC
Version: git master (using KDE 4.8.0)
OS: Linux

Switch header to cpp, cpp to header, and code assistant/completion/implement functions members are ignored/does not work.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
- Create a new c++ class.
- Declare member functions
- Create new files ( file1.cpp, file2.cpp, and so on )
- edit one of the new cpp files ( not myclass.cpp, but the new cpp file )
- Thus into the new cpp file:
- #include "myclass.h"

- Try code-assitant
- Try switching to "myclass.h" [CRTL+SHIFT+c]

Actual Results:
"myclass" code-assistant data absent, Nothing works

Expected Results:
code-assitant to process "myclass", cpp<->header file handling to work as in "myclass.cpp"

Severity: I am choosing the nearer asset:
"Normal:It's a bug that should be fixed"

- But I would rather tell :
Normal: It's a bug that MUST be fixed.

It is a strange feeling that make editing in KDevelop as if I am pushed out of KDevelop's most powerful feature: code-assistant, now it's broken.

I've noticed this 'bug' have always been present.
