from bug 297149

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Added a new IMAP account in Akonadi Resources Configuration.
List of accounts then reads "No server configured yet." on the new account.
Clicked Modify, to me it read just like the other accounts in the list, that is everything is filled out correctly.
Clicked ok, crash happened.
Now Akonadi won't let me modify this particular account. Clicking Modify simply does nothing.
Other accounts still seem to work fine and can be modified.

Please bum this bug to 4.9.4 if its really the same bug its there now nearly 10 months
Comment 18 Scott Kitterman 2012-12-01 20:24:08 UTC
I reported one of the duplicates (298326) and I don't recall seeing the behavior I reported since I upgraded to 4.9.
Comment 19 Marc Schiffbauer 2012-12-01 20:31:21 UTC
For me the resource agents are crashing on every resum from suspend to ram (current 4.9)
Comment 20 Scott Kitterman 2012-12-01 21:12:16 UTC
Try removing the .dat files in ~/.config/akonadi. I've had to do that due to a different bug, so perhaps that's the difference.

New crash information added by DrKonqi

akonadi_imap_resource (4.10) on KDE Platform 4.10.00 using Qt 4.8.3

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Kmail had been idle on the desktop overnight and at some point it had popped up an authorisation failure (suspect our mail admins were doing some maintenance). I re-entered the password and kmail crashed as attached.

An earlier report asked if this was still happening; I unfortunately can confirm that this happened with 4.10.
