I had the same bug with amarok-git version, in my Archlinux x64 (kde 4.8, qt 4.8)
Comment 2 Belomir 2012-02-09 12:32:54 UTC
Confirm on Amarok Version: 2:2.5.0-0ubuntu4~oneiric1~ppa1

Amarok don't play anything — progressbar is moveing with normal speed but nothing is head. When click stop it crashes with SegFault.

Reproducable every time.

DrKonki cannot make this bug report. It says that backtrace is useless, but can't find any debug symbols (they are installed actually).

Just upgraded from kubuntu backports to 4.8

Comment 5 Myriam Schweingruber 2012-02-10 14:59:26 UTC
Belomir: it is useless because what you report is a different bug about the phonon-backend-xine and you don't have the debugging symbols isntalled. Please do not use the xine backend, it is deprecated and unmaintained since June 2011. Use the gstreamer or the vlc backend instead.
