Version: 4.6.1 (using KDE 4.7.4) OS: MS Windows KMyMoney language settings cannot be changed from French to anything other than American English except that it doesn't change in KMyMoney but all the other installed KDE applications (KAddressBook, Kontact,KOrganizer etc) are i English Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Tried changing language settings to American English using various countries (Canada, Turkey, Brazil, United Kingdom,United States of America). Closed the program and reopened it. No change. Also shutdown and restarted the computer. No change. Actual Results: No change to language setting. Expected Results: KMyMoney language settings changed to use English. I can edit each of the account, category etc names but I don't know the English equivalent and it's not worth the effort. Running Windows 7, 64 bit version, Quad 4 processor, 8 GB RAM. No crashes so far with KDE programs
Hm, you must have pulled in a french account template. Remove those french accounts (if they are still unused) and use "File/Import/Account Template" to get something that suits your language. The names of the accounts do not change when changing the program language. This is by design.
Thanks I solved the problem by opening a new account in File/New but I like your method better if I track say car expenses separately. However I have another issue to ask about if that's OK. I cannot enter any transactions more then a week prior to the current date. eg today is Feb 12 no entry permitted before Feb 5. Can this be changed in any of the settings?
