Version:           1.7 (using KDE 4.7.4) 
OS:                Linux

when the content of the folder is modifed from an application externally to dolphin one would expect the content to be updated.  This often occurs.  however sometimes it does not.  Even pressing F5 does not show the new content even though the GUI refreshes the folder.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
looks to happen more often if the folder contains lots of entries

Actual Results:  
N/A

Expected Results:  
I would expect dolphin to update the content of the folderview whenever filesystem entries are added/deleted and updated

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.0.0-15-generic
