Description Szymon Stefanek 2012-02-03 14:38:12 UTC
Version: 4.8
OS: Linux

When I click Accept on an invitation the automatic reply is sent and the mail disappears from the viewer in that it was currently open and from its folder. It turns out that for some reason it's moved to the trash folder.

So I decided to move the message back manually from trash to the right folder. After some time (minutes?) the original messages seems to have reappeared and now I have two copies of the invitation in the original folder.

I suppose that it's some trick related to the invitation reply being sent and the modification of the message body. But this behavior first suggests data loss and then (when the lost mail is found) turns out to be very confusing.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Click "Accept" on an invitation e-mail.

Actual Results:
Invitation moved to trash.
(Then reappears (?))

Expected Results:
Invitation in it's original folder.

"Delete invitation emails after the reply to them has been sent" in kmail->configure->misc ?

My bad.
Just figured out that there is an option for this purpose.

It shouldn't be active by default though...
