I'm not agree with this suggestion : I'm never use versionning because I hate the philosophy and DigiKam is a rare soft to allow to manage your picture vesions in the way you want. Despite of this, Il really like the visible versionning panel because I can see immediately the tools I used to product a picture.
I agree with comment #1. If you don't need versionning info, don't open panel relevant that all. Gilles Caulier
