Version: unspecified OS: Linux Hi It would be nice if Kate's autocompletion could also use words within the filename of the opened file for autocomplete suggestions. Regards, Ettore Atalan Reproducible: Didn't try Expected Results: None, feature request
Please explain in more detail what you mean. Show a few examples if possible
Interestingly, this is available via the new Projects plugin in KDE 4.10. There ctags is used to create an index of the project files, so it works across files.
I have a lots of text files with longer file names on my computer. When I edit such a file it would be more comfortable when autocompletion may use the words within the filename as a resource for autocomplete suggestions. Regards, Ettore Atalan
