Description Anders Lund 2012-01-30 12:10:41 UTC
Version: 1.99.0 (using KDE 4.8.0)
OS: Linux

In kmail, I could set shortcuts for applying filters, for example "classify as spam". In kmail2 that is no longer possible.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
start "edit shortcuts", type in the search field the name of a fiter action

Actual Results:
action is not there

Expected Results:
action found

OS: Linux (i686) release 3.2.1-2-ARCH
Compiler: gcc

You can configure it in filter->advanced.
We will not create kaction for each filter (I have 120 filters here).
so they are not show in configurate shortcut.

Thank you, maybe that is how I did that before too :)

An afterthought: I believe I expected to find those actions that are in the menu in the shortcut editor. I assume they are added to the actioncollection when that is enabled, and removed when disabled, so it would not be a squazillion filters appearing there anyways?

No because it's stored directly in filter action not in shortcut dialog.
Because we can't store correctly shortcut (for action in filter config file) when we change it from shortcut dialogbox.
So it's not possible.
