Description Martin L ü c h e m 2012-01-29 10:17:14 UTC
Version: 1.99.0 (using KDE 4.7.4)
OS: Linux

It takes between 5 seconds and 60 seconds until the popup windows appears when using extended search or editing filter options. Every change e.g. in the filter dialog takes the same time again.

Last tested with filter dialog:

- to appear: 60 sec!
- seltect different predefined filter: 10 sec

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
use extended search or filter dialog

Actual Results:
between 5 seconds and 60 seconds until the popup windows appears

Expected Results:
between 0,25 seconds and 1 seconds until the popup windows appears

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.0.0-15-generic
Compiler: gcc

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
