Description chp321 2012-01-27 14:07:47 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux

When you try to drag-and-drop a jpeg file on a wma file (cover art), it erases track number and year, and the image is not visible. When you write track number and year back again, the audio file becomes corrupted (unable to read it : "cannot find demultiplexer plugin for MRL"), and its size becomes bigger twice.

Very strange, isn't it ? The same thing is encountered with qoobar. So, maybe, the origin is from dependancy which is common to qoobar and kid3.

Sorry for my bad english, I am french.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
In kid3, drag-and-drop a jpeg file on a wma file.
The image is not displayed, the image tag shows the name of the file's image, and the track number and the year are erased.
At this stage, the audio file is still readable.
After writing track number and year back again in kid3, the size of the audio file is multiplied by 2, and the audio file becomes unreadable : « cannot find demultiplexer plugin for MRL »

Actual Results:
Data corrupted : audio file unreadable.

Expected Results:
Audio file must be stay readable !!!
