Version: 2.4.0 (using KDE 4.7.4) OS: Linux Digikam should display center of image - not the left top edge when zooming to 100%. Zoom to 100% is used to asses the sharpness of photograph on the pixel level. The top left edge commonly don't contain subject to which camera was focused. In most cases it's enough to see that image is sharp in the center. Now we have to zoom and drag and shift to center which is too much hassle. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: Display single image and press Zoom to 100% icon or use keyboard shortcut (ctrl+alt+0). Actual Results: Image top left corner is displayed in pixel to pixel scale. Expected Results: Image center should be displayed instead.
Problem is in preview or editor ? or both ? Gilles Caulier
Seem to be everywhere, where 100% is available - preview, light table, editor...
Using current git/master implementation, zoom to 100% already switch to image center, excepted if you have already zoom in image. In this case 100% zoom will center canvas in center of previously zoomed area. This is also valid for Image Editor canvas. For me the current behavior is fine. Gilles Caulier
