Description Christopher Yeleighton 2012-01-24 17:28:35 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS: Linux

This is already mentioned in TODO, but not registered as a bug AFAIK.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Unpack the source tarball.
  2. Open <URL: help:apper >.

Actual Results:
  1. COPYING, TODO
  2. Documentation not Found

Expected Results:
  1. COPYING, TODO, README, AUTHORS, BUGS, ChangeLog
  2. Apper manual.

The condition is slightly alleviated by { apper --help; }; however, a Help button and an introduction to concepts is badly needed, even if this introduction is mostly a redirect to <URL: http://www.packagekit.org/ >.

Bug 463406 is not fixed, your claims notwithstanding.
Comment 3 Christoph Cullmann 2025-06-10 18:22:51 UTC
This project is unfortunately no longer maintained.

If a new maintainer wants to step up and take care, the project is archived here:

https://invent.kde.org/system/apper

You can just clone it in your private namespace on invent.kde.org and if you have started to work on it and fixed/implemented something get it reviewed and the project unarchived.

Sorry for the inconveniences.
