Description Robert Evans 2012-01-24 17:06:04 UTC
Version: 4.6 pre (using KDE 4.6.5)
OS: Linux

Whenever marking the todo as complete by moving the progress slider to 100%, the todo will not be stamped in the journal when you have Record completed todos in journal entry selected. You must actually select the "Complete" checkbox while viewing the todo in the todo list.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a todo and save it.
2. Open todo and move the progress slider to 100%, then save the todo
3. Go to the journal and the todo has not been recorded.
4. Open the todo again and move the slider to anything other than 100% and save the todo.
5. click the check box to the left of the todo's summary.
6. Go to the journal tabla nd you will now see the todo listed.

Expected Results:
After moving the slider to 100% (Step 2), the todo should have been recorded in the journal tab as a completed todo.

Works fine with recent versions.

Note that there's a new setting to enable/disable this functionality: in kontact settings / Calendar / View / TODO View, there's a checkbox named "Record completed to-dos in journal entries"
Comment 2 Robert Evans 2012-04-20 16:54:16 UTC
The "Record completed to-dos in journal entries" was ticked on, as noted in the description of hte problem.

However, this problem does not exist in 4.7.x and above :)
