Which notification method do you use? System notifications or OSD?
Comment 2 Gunter Ohrner 2012-01-24 21:15:00 UTC
Interestingly, in the setting dialog neither is set...

The notifications I'm talking about originate from my systray... (A stack of four small borderless and transparent windows was popping up upon each song change.)

Unfortunately - or fortunately? - this does not happen at the moment, only one notifcation windows is currently displayed...

I'll temporarily close it as "WORKSFORME" and will reopen it if I experience the problem again.
