Description masterdany88 2012-01-21 19:02:56 UTC
Version: 4.7.4 (using KDE 4.7.4)
OS: Linux

When windows grouping in tabs on window title bar are activated I am activating scale effect (or window presentation) I got all opened windows one next to one, but It shows only one (for exemple) window of rekonq while I have ran even 7. So I cant swich between them using that effect.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
put mouse pointer in the right up corner
got scale effect (all windows are scaled into the grid)

Actual Results:
I got only one o few windows opened in windows title bar (grouping feature)

Expected Results:
I should get for exemple all 7 windows of grouped windows app

It dosnt show all tabed windows (if in one group rekonq and minitube- I got only one which is activated right now window)

I've noticed the same behaviour in the effect "Flip switch".
But all tabed windows are shown in effect "Cover switch"

It's not like i'd be any surprised.

First off:
your lateral observations are wrong.
All Alt+tab switching generally supports tabbed windows ... it just that they only support tabs which have been activated at least once (and everytime after any configuration changes) - don't ask, window tabbing is being rewritten for 4.9 anyway.

This also includes the present windows effect when being invoked through alt+tab.

Whether present windows as non window switching tool, but to provide an oversight on the current window stack should actually break up the stack, i don't know.

Window tabbing is long dead; this is no longer relevant I'm afraid.
