Version:           2.4-snapshots (using Devel) 
OS:                Linux

C Words does not behave consistently with e.g. kate when you press Ctrl+f or ctrl+r

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Select a piece of text
press ctrl+f or Ctrl+r

Actual Results:  
Search query is what you wrote in the last time you searched

Expected Results:  
selected piece of text is copied in to be ready to search after

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.0.0-14-generic
Compiler: gcc

pretty bad if it happens in other files too, but this is the first we have seen ?

still reproductible in 3.2.1
