Application: kmail (4.7.2)
KDE Platform Version: 4.7.2 (4.7.2)
Qt Version: 4.7.4
Operating System: Linux 3.1.0-1.2-default i686
Distribution: "openSUSE 12.1 (i586)"

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I created a new mail with several addresses and saved it as a draft. When I opened the draft mail again each address had an own line in header and the first address appeared twice. When I then tried to save the mail again as draft (or something else), kmail crashed.

Action that results in crash is much more simple than described: I create new mail, put in e.g. 3 addresses and save it as a draft. When I then open this draft I get the message "Receiver list is shortened to 1 from 3 entries" (translated from german). Then kmail crashes.
Comment 2 Sebastien Renard 2012-08-18 11:22:24 UTC
It works properly with at least KDE 4.8.4. Could you confirm this please ?

New crash information added by DrKonqi

kmail (4.11.2) on KDE Platform 4.11.2 using Qt 4.8.5

- What I was doing when the application crashed:
* Created a new message with 3 receivers: 1 TO and 2 CCs
* Saved the message
* Opened the saved message
* A popup said the deliveries list will be shortened (why?)
* Clicked "Okay"
* Kmail crashed

Comment 4 Denis Kurz 2016-09-24 17:58:12 UTC
This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Comment 5 Denis Kurz 2017-01-07 21:55:37 UTC
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
