Description Herman Viaene 2012-01-17 13:07:18 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.4)
OS: Linux

Specifying recurrences AND an exception results in the number of occurences not being respected.
The version ok korganizer I have is 4.4.9 (does not show in the dropdown list above).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
I specify an activity starting on oct. 2 2012 to occur weekly 9 times. I start the recurrence editor and specify 9 occurences AND immediately define oct. 30 as an exception AND only then apply the changes.
I expect to find 9 items planned on oct 2, 9, 16, 23, nov 6, 13, 20, 27 and dec. 4. But the last one is missing, so there are only 8 occurences planned.

Actual Results:
8 occurences

Expected Results:
9 occurences

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.33.7-desktop-2mnb
Compiler: gcc

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
