Description Javier Llorente 2012-01-17 09:16:55 UTC
Version: unspecified
OS: Linux

The "Information retrieval for <insert_city_here> timed out" error dialog from the weather plasmoid hides typing/blocks tapping on Connman until you either re-open Connman or tap on the OK of the dialog. After that, you will see all the characters you've typed before/taps (ie: open sections in Connman). This behaviour may happen if you are either in the same activity where the error dialog is or in a different one. Tested on 2012-01-16-09-16-basyskom-plasma-active-devel-meego-usb-live.iso

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure you are offline.
2. Wait some minutes until you get the error dialog from the weather forecast plasmoid
3. Try to go online from the same activity or from another one
4. Observe that typing/tapping are hidden
5. Tap on OK in that error dialog/reopen Connman
6. Observe the display; the actions (typing/tapping) you've done before become visible

Expected Results:
Typing/tapping in Connman shouldn't be hidden from the user

We don't use Connman anymore, so this won't need fixing
