Version: 2.4-snapshots (using KDE 4.7.4) OS: Linux Crated a simple ODS file created with LibreOffice Calc 3.4.4, with Ubuntu font as setted as default, but Tables shows Arial. If I format just some cells and saving it, Calc the result is an ODS file with Arial as font, and just the modified fonts in Tables with Ubuntu. I have it setted to Ubuntu in Calc. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: There isn't any way (AFIK) of setting a default font in Calc so. 1) Create a file in MS Excel, and set a different (than Arial, at least) default font in the menu. 2) Open it with Calc, save it as a template. Create a ODS with it, with some text (text should be then with this different font, of course) and save it 3) Open it with Tables Actual Results: Tables shows Arial (I think it's because it's its default font) Expected Results: Tables should show the same font with the file was created, as LibreOffice Calc and MS Excel do. Of course, this happens *only* with the default font in the template used. If I create an ODS file, change the format of some cells in Calc, those cells are shown correctely in Tables.
I forgot to add: When saving the file with a different default font with Tables, and opening it again with Calc, the font has changed to Arial in Calc also.
I was going to generate another report for a bug, but now I think it's the same. The file I've attached had a scatter chart, with 3 colors set in Calc as default (but different from the original default that came in Calc or Tables). The colors are some blue, red and green. Tables shown it's own default colors (blue, orange and yellow) instead the colors I have previously defined. When saving now the file with tables, and opening with Calc, this last shows the colors used by Tables and not the original ones.
Tested with Calligra Sheets 2.6.4 and KDE 4.10.5 and unable to reproduce. Not surprising as I believe Sheets replaces Tables.
I'm still able to reproduce this bug with Sheets 2.7.1. How to reproduce it: 1) Create a file with LibreOffice/OpenOffice.org, and change the default style for cells. (It is in general "Arial 10pts", and I use to use, for instance, "Open Sans 10pt" or "Ubuntu 10pt") 2) Type some text in a cell, and save it. 3) Open it with Sheets. Actual results: The text in the only filled cell is correctly formated, as I already pointed out. But when selecting a different cell, typeface is "Arial 9pt" (at least in my case). Expected results: When typing in any cell, the typeface should be the one of the default style, whichever it is.
Indeed you're right, I misunderstood what you were seeing. I'll attach a test document that shows this shortly.
Created attachment 83325 [details] Test file that shows issue - Used LibreOffice to create a file with a default font of Courier and put some text in cell A1 then saved it as an ODS document. - Opened the saved file using Sheets - Cell A1 is selected - Formatting shows "DejaVu Sans" - Pressing the right arrow key shows cell B1 as having a format of Sans Serif - Pressing the left arrow key shows cell A1 as having a format of Sans Serif
Dasan, may we mark it as "confirmed"?

Andrew: I can't reproduce the bug with test file attached by daasan.san: Calligra Sheets 3.0.1 uses Courier as typeface Nonetheless, I have created another file which is not completely well formatted after opening with Sheets.
Created attachment 116286 [details] Style formatted file The attached ODS file has some dummy text formatted with Ubuntu typeface. There are 3 rows: clean text, light green background and automatic color typeface, and dark green cell background with white typeface. The file was created with LibreOffice 5.2.7 under Kubuntu 18.04 x64. Actual results: Calligra Sheets 3.0.2 opens correctly the file except by the dark green colored cell: color typeface is black instead of white.
