Version: 2.3.4 (using KDE 4.6.5) OS: Linux I have almost 200 movies catalogued and when I attempt to print them to a pdf file the columns get all messed up. The thing is , is that it is not a persistent as to the columns getting messed up. It will do two sometimes three pages and then the first or second entry on the next page is messed up with the plot summary starting on the DVD image. Also entries do NOT end at the end of a page and are split across 2 pages. Both of these issues present a problem in that there are 44 pages to be printed and I want to print on both sides of the page but do not have a duplex printer so I have print all the odd pages first then insert these pages again to print all the even pages on the blank side like a duplex printer would do normally. I'm running Fedora 15 and printing to the cups PDF printer. I don't know if the problem lays with tellico or the cups PDF printer. Any assistence that could be rendered would be greatly appreciated. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Run a report using the image list option. Then print, then select cups PDF printer. Open the file created by the cups pdf printer and page through until the columns are overlapped. Actual Results: Overlapping columns at random locations and entries split across 2 pages. Expected Results: All columns should remain uniform throughout the report and entries should not be split across 2 pages for movies(video DVD covers) version: 2.3.4 4.6.5 (4.6.5), 4.6.5-8.fc15 Fedora OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.41.4-1.fc15.x86_64 Compiler: gcc Machine: Toshiba Laptop Model: L655 Ram: 4GiB Processor: quad core 2.67GHz
This appears to be a KHTML or KDE print dialog issue. I isolated a test case and submitted as bug 303278. As a workaround for the problem in Tellico, save the report as HTML, and open it in Firefox and print to PDF from there. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 303278 ***
