Description Lukasz 2012-01-11 00:46:38 UTC
Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.3)
OS: Linux

After starting KMail (Kontact) no new mails arrive in one of the imap accounts.
No information is presented. Check Mail is noop for this account.
Akonadi Console shows that connection to mail server has failed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Try to get mail when for example there is no route to mail server.

Actual Results:
No error information is shown in KMail user interface.

Expected Results:
Inform user that something is wrong. So she/he doesn't need to send her/himself test mails to check why inbox is so calm on that day.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.0.0-14-generic
Compiler: gcc

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
