Version: CVS
OS: Linux

I would very much like to export my configuration to be the system default,

See bug 290675

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
look at this config file, it has information specific to this user that is not transferable to another user. These should be separated.

Actual Results:
/etc/skel that needs to be tediously manually edited

Expected Results:
easy export.

No response; assuming the desire for this change disappeared, or it got fixed, or is no longer relevant.
