Active News Reader loads a blank page instead of RSS on 2012-01-10-09-09-basyskom-plasma-active-devel-meego-usb-live.iso

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Drag down the peek area.
2. Launch Active News Reader by tapping on "News Reader"
3. Observe the display

Actual Results:  
A window with no contents

Expected Results:  
A window with contents

Active news reader works here now, some hours ago it did not work. I think it not work before because the routing table in my VirtualBox was screw up, which means my image inside VirtualBox was not able to access the Internet. Now that I fix the routing table it works.

The aboutapp behaves the same when offline. When I click on a link it does nothing, if I am online it opens the web browser as expected.

That's interesting. I have Internet connectivity so it should work. And even if I didn't, showing a blank page is not very user friendly IMHO. A basic dialog saying that you are offline or something like that would help users to know why there are no contents.

+1. If we cannot show anything because there is no internet connection, the user has to be notified of that.

Already fixed. Tested on 2012-01-27-18-07-basyskom-plasma-active-devel-mer-usb-live.iso and 2012-01-26-20-22-basyskom-plasma-active-devel-meego-usb-live.iso
