Version: unspecified OS: Linux Active News Reader loads a blank page instead of RSS on 2012-01-10-09-09-basyskom-plasma-active-devel-meego-usb-live.iso Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Drag down the peek area. 2. Launch Active News Reader by tapping on "News Reader" 3. Observe the display Actual Results: A window with no contents Expected Results: A window with contents
Active news reader works here now, some hours ago it did not work. I think it not work before because the routing table in my VirtualBox was screw up, which means my image inside VirtualBox was not able to access the Internet. Now that I fix the routing table it works. The aboutapp behaves the same when offline. When I click on a link it does nothing, if I am online it opens the web browser as expected.
That's interesting. I have Internet connectivity so it should work. And even if I didn't, showing a blank page is not very user friendly IMHO. A basic dialog saying that you are offline or something like that would help users to know why there are no contents.

If we cannot show anything because there is no internet connection, the user has to be notified of that.
Already fixed. Tested on 2012-01-27-18-07-basyskom-plasma-active-devel-mer-usb-live.iso and 2012-01-26-20-22-basyskom-plasma-active-devel-meego-usb-live.iso
