Version: 4.8 (using KDE 4.7.4) OS: Linux After some time of using kmail with imap accounts it is have lags when switching between folders. I mean when I click to some folder all app is freezing for 3-10 seconds and just then show folder's content. Same happenes on start of kmail before folders and accounts list will shown. I try to move .kde4 folder to .kde4~, login again and setup password and other missed data to accounts settings and all starts work fine, but after ~week lags are come back. No errors found in ~/.xsession-errors Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Just switch between folders in imap-accounts after some days of using kmail Actual Results: freezing all app for 3-10 seconds before actually switch to folder Expected Results: it must switch in max.1 second (how it do with clear profile or at first days of using kmail)
KDE version is 4.7.97 (4.8 rc2) This version was not present in select box at bug posting form.
Just now I'm seen that same lags with krunner too. After pressing hotkey or executing command from terminal it is appears after 5-6 seconds. I kill existing krunner and run `krunner --nofork`. It print just that: QDBusConnection: session D-Bus connection created before QCoreApplication. This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
