With KDE 4.8 RC2 and Akonadi enabled there are frequent lockups up to 20 seconds then the system returns to normal. With Akonadi disabled this does not occur.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Normal operation with Akonadi enabled.

Actual Results:  
Frequent lockuos up to 20 seconds, no keyboard or mouse control and all monitor widgets freeze.

Expected Results:  
Expected not to freeze.

I have been unable to duplicate this bug through multiple reboots. Since I see no more reports perhaps it should be closed.
