Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.4) OS: Linux I use konqueror 4.7.4 on KDE 4.7.4 on kubuntu 10.11. It gets sometimes (too often) stuck for several seconds if I e.g. right click a link on a webpage, if I want to switch to a different tab by clicking it or if I try to scroll. In each case it freezes before the requested action is taken (show right click menu, show the other tab, scroll). There is usally no crash involved. After a while I can usually continue browsing. http://code.google.com/p/n2hell/ is not installed as in Bug 203170 . Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: Unfortunately I cannot give any recipe to reproduce the bug as it seems to occur randomly (different webpages, different links etc). Expected Results: Normal operation without interruptions.
I should add that it can also happen with simple single clicks on links and that the CPU usage stays low. I had a similar prolem with older versions of kde 4.7 but it disappeared after I installed various ubuntu bugfixes. Also I had error messages in .xsession_errors which I could relate to konqueror. Btw. I am using konqueror with webkit but do not know whether it makes a difference.

Since you are using the webkit browser engine, this issue has nothing in common with bug 203170 as that concerns the khtml engine.
kpart-webkit: 0.9.6-0ubuntu3 qt: 4.7.4 Since the latest updates I experience also problems with krunner and system notifications in addition to the problem described above. Could it be a plasma or akonadi issue?
I confirmed that the problem actually exists also with khtml part.
It seems that the problem was related to old nspluginviewer/flash problems. It seems it was solved by manual installation of the current flash 11.2 beta. Should the Ubuntu flash installation packages be updated.
