Hi,
I have to report a bluetooth driver bug or an BlueDevil application bug... so i have dual boot on my laptop "Dell Vostro 1015 @ Kubuntu 11.10 -- i386", windows 7 Professional Edition and Kubuntu 11.10 -- i386; After the installation of Kubuntu i was restarted my laptop and the bluetooth was working perfect ... after first system shutdown the bluetooth was not working the bluetooth adapter indicator (the light) was off I DON'T HAVE AN ON/OFF BUTTON FOR BLUETOOTH, i have only for WiFi. I tried to restart the WiFi but the bluetooth was still off, so i opened BlueDevil manually but nothing new. At the adapter tab the message was "No Bluetooth adapters have been found.". I was installed all the updates but nothing new. I tried to restart the laptop, it was still not working so i was thinking was an hardware problem so i booted in windows... THERE IS WORKING.. so i restarted the laptop again... IT WAS WORKING TOO IN KUBUNTU, but after the next shutdown IT WAS NOT WORKING ANYMORE... so after the first shutdown is not working... IT IS WORKING ONLY AFTER RESTART FROM WINDOWS AND IT IS STOPPING AFTER SHUTDOWN FROM KUBUNTU.... I'm member of http://forum.ubuntu.ro
so i posted there http://forum.ubuntu.ro/viewtopic.php?id=15458
(is in romanian-> i'm from romania), they tried to help my... after some commands from the KONSOLE i didn't solve the problrem i will write the following commands and the result:
1) "sudo rfkill list"
the result when is not working is:
"1: phy0: Wireless LAN
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: no
2: dell-wifi: Wireless LAN
        Soft blocked: no

        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: no
4: hci0: Bluetooth
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: no"

and with it working the result is:
"0: phy0: Wireless LAN
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: no
1: hci0: Bluetooth
        Soft blocked: no

I confirm this bug and will try to narrow it down:

1. After a fresh boot, with bluetooth working, the bluetooth tray does it's job perfectly. Enable / disable bluetooth works.
2. Disable bluetooth, hibernate
3. restore. The bluetooth icon is in believe, bluetooth is available, while it's not (indicated by disabled light). Toggling to off doesn't work, it remains in "active" state.
4. To get it back working, a sudo /etc/init.d/bluetooth restart works. The icon shortly disapears and commes immediately back with the correct state (bluetooth disabled). Now toggling enable/disable works again.

I report this on Kubuntu 11.10. As pointed out here,
http://forum.ubuntu.ro/viewtopic.php?id=15458

adding
==============
sudo service bluetooth restart
exit 0
==============
as /etc/rc.local works to.

So: is this actually a KDE bug or a Kubuntu runlevel / restore misbehaviour?
