Description Søren Holm 2012-01-04 08:19:20 UTC
Version: 4.8.x (using Devel)
OS: Linux

Having my imap inbox open and receiving a new email the folder-list is updated (showing "Inbox (1)"). The list of mails is not updated.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select the inbox to see the emails in it
2. Send an email to yourselv
3. Press "Send/receiver"

Actual Results:
Folder-lsit will update (Inbox (1) ), but no new emails in the current view.
Select another folder, and the "Inbox" again to see the new email.
F5 og CTRL-F5 does not work.

Expected Results:
The new email should appear in the list of emails.

I just figured out that it is only the first new email recieved that does not show up.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
