Description Gunter Ohrner 2012-01-02 10:41:48 UTC
Version: 4.7 (using Devel)
OS: Linux

I configured kmail to position the editor cursor below the quoted text.

If open a new mail, switch the sender identity and tab to the text editor window (most often after filling out receipient address and subject line), the cursor is positioned after the signature instead of on top of it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
* Open a new message window.
* Switch to a sender identity which uses a signature (a static signature in my case).
* Tab from to the identity selector box to the message editor window, optionally filling out all required edit fields on the way.

Actual Results:
Once the message editor gets the focus, the text cursor is positioned after the signature.

Expected Results:
The cursor should be positioned after the quoted text but before the signature, just as its done if I do not switch the sender identity before filling all fields and tabbing to the message editor.
