Created attachment 67332 [details] Here's the menu I can see in 4.8RC1 Version: unspecified (using Devel) OS: Linux Until KDE 4.7.4, by right-clicking on any device listed inside the Device Notifier (which is by default inside the System Tray and can also be added as a Plasma Widget), there was a line with a check-box "hide device". In 4.8RC1 (aka 4.7.95), that line does not appear any more. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Plug in any USB device (unless you already have some); if the device notifier does not appear by itself, click on its icon in the system tray. Then, right click on any device. Actual Results: The menu has two lines only: Device Notifier options and Unlock Items Expected Results: There should be a row with a check-box "Hide this Device" Since I use the Italian version of KDE, I could be using wrong names and strings; I hope you can still understand it. I'll also upload a screen-shot, in case it can help. I've also reported that here: http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=98406
Same issue, it would be nice to see this functionality back :)

Still applies in Plasma 5.
Hello! This feature request was filed for KDE Plasma 4, which reached end-of-support status in August 2015. KDE Plasma 5's desktop shell has been almost completely rewritten for better performance and usability, so it is likely that this feature request is already implemented in Plasma 5, or is no longer applicable. Accordingly, we hope you understand why we must close this feature request. If the requested feature is still desired but not implemented in KDE Plasma 5.12 or later, please feel free to open a new ticket in the "plasmashell" product after reading https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Bug_Reporting If you would like to get involved in KDE's bug triaging effort so that future mass bug closes like this are less likely, please read https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved#Bug_Triaging Thanks for your understanding!
