Created attachment 67274 [details] Icons outside the applet Version: unspecified (using Devel) OS: Linux When I log in I see the comic applet as in the attached image. Note the 2 icons to the right of the applet: these comic feeds I'm also subscribed to, but they shouln't be visible. If I select the second comic feed (Nichtlustig in my case) the first comics icon get's drawn to the left outside of the applet. Reproducible: Didn't try Actual Results: Expected Results: AFAIR this was no problem in Beta2. I'm using an Intel 945 GPU.
This is 4.8RC1
Nothing changed in the comic source for quite some time so I think this is rather a problem in plasma which went unnoticed as most users of the tabbar do not set icons.
Created attachment 67324 [details] Screenshot showing icon to the left of comic widget I have been seeing this as well. I have also seen it to the left of the initial comic, as seen in the screenshot.
I wonder if the change in plasma being commented on here in this amarok bug is related to this issue https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=290123#c12

Just to say I also happen to have the problem. I cannot say if the problem was there on the beta2, but it clearly was working on kde 4.7. Please see the attached screenshot. I did this by making the plasmoid big enough to fit all the tabs and then shrinking it so as some tabs get hidden away. Text does disapear but the icons don't.
Created attachment 69748 [details] Icons escaped from the comic plasmoid For me, icons have escapted to both sides of the application. Was OK in kde 4.7.x but this now happens (on two systems) after fedora 16 upgrade to kde 4.8.1.
i confirmed this on 4.9 master

the problem seems laid inside Plasma::Tabbar part of kdelibs.

I can reproduce this using 4.9.2 on 2 systems using different Intel graphics cards. On my ATI system using the open source driver and 4.8.5 I don't have it. Is this just random?
No such problem in KDE 4.10 beta 2. It has been fixed by the QML port as far as I can tell.
Yep, can't reproduce it as well on 4.10 Beta 1
fixed in 4.10 master
