Description Christoph Thielecke 2011-12-28 10:30:40 UTC
Version: 4.8 (using Devel)
OS: Linux

I upgraded to kde 4.8-rc1 and kmail wants to upgrade on start but it fails and tells me I should do migrate in console. But this also does not work.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Start kmail, it fails and tells to execute "kmail-migrator --interactive" but this doesnt work.

Actual Results:
first error (error msg iss attached. starting kmail-migrator --interactive gives:
kmail-migrator --interactive
kmail-migrator(19945) main: Migration of kmailrc has already run, not running it again

Expected Results:
Migrate to kmail2 and run.

This bug has only been reported for versions older than KDEPIM 4.14 (at most akonadi-1.3). Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a recent version of akonadi (part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
