What's happening on my pc with synch

Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.3)
OS: Linux

1. Recently I've update kmail from kubuntu official repository.
2. KMail loads all my folders but I was unable to see mail body
3. I uninstalled kmail, deleted all akonadi files and original mail folder
4. I restored the backuped maildir folder
5. I created a new akonadi resource pointing to kmail maildir folder
6. tried to synch the folders.

The synchronization action never ends and I'm not able to read my emails.

What can I do? kmailcvt crashes if I try to use after some hours of import. I've 5.2GB of mails o disk

thanks
christian f.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
see above

Expected Results:
to see my emails

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
