KRITA 2.4 BETA 5 - WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM (64 BIT)

THIS GLITCH OCCURS AS WELL ON:
UBUNTU 11.10 - 64 bit (Oneiric Ocelot) - UNITY SHELL
Kde 4.7.4
KRITA 2.4 - BETA 4 (installed through ppa:neon/ppa)
OpenGl is disabled (Setting > Configures > Display)
Vbox 4.1.4 (Windows 7 as Host; Ubuntu is the guest)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Fire up Krita 2.4 beta 5;
2. Choose a RGB template (e.g. 640x480)
3. Add a text shape;
4. Write some text on the canvas;
5. Trying to select does not work with your mouse (that is, press left button of your mouse + selecting the text with your mouse);
6. It does not work either whether you try to press on your keyboard: SHIFT + left arrow (to select one letter every stroke of the left arrow)


Actual Results:  
It is not possible to select ALL your text to change its size.
This occurs both on Windows 7 and Ubuntu 11.10 (Krita 2.4).

With Words - Calligra > Windows 7 (I can select my text BUT Words crashes most of the time).

Btw, IMHO adding some text on Krita quickly is a real pain :-(
Most of the time the "wrong" shape pops up.
You must really "lucky" to add your text rapidly on the canvas :-)

Expected Results:  
I should be able to select all my text (to change its size)

In this video you can:
- visualize this problem on Words - Calligra (unfortunately, most of the time Words crashes but, one time, I did succeed to select my text on Words);
- On Windows 7, with Krita 2.4(B5) it does not work: you can not select your text to change its size (either with your mouse or with your keyboard);
- On Ubuntu 11.10 (Krita 2.4 b3) it does not work either (you can not select your text).
