Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.3) OS: Linux I cannot read my e-mails because KMail does not show them. They are in the list but when I click on them in the preview only is shown „Retrieving Folder Contents Please wait . . .“ Sometimes the mails are opened after some minutes. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Click at a mail. :) Expected Results: I expect the mails to be shown. The problem occurs since an update on december 21.
The Problem seems to be Akonadi, the Configuration shows KMail Folders „synchronising emal folder inbox (0%)“ and do not change. I renamed the folder and imported the mails wit KMail but a few days the same problem occures.
This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
