Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.3) OS: Linux I got a GPG encrypted mail with looks as follows: **************************************************************** (...) MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/encrypted; protocol="application/pgp-encrypted"; boundary="6sX45UoQRIJXqkqR" Content-Disposition: inline (...) --6sX45UoQRIJXqkqR Content-Type: application/pgp-encrypted Content-Disposition: attachment Version: 1 --6sX45UoQRIJXqkqR Content-Type: application/octet-stream Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="msg.asc" -----BEGIN PGP MESSAGE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (GNU/Linux) hQEOAzuGkxnMKmM8EAQAhcC4DuafFB28NoGnvyOi2n7poigewgqdSPKSiBe24Mzp LMGPohZODtudSux7j47e8BPYjfU10NdvNMoD/nxGaqgEB00VPGPur2ao63VMaN2T jojkqLHKilWpMhd9xGiP14DU01Bugbe9Kds7WMgC7Uw0BkuHunZ6oMA/2QfVFIoD (...) erfkvx2Zmopre/I6qHyN7d0Ys5XOfzaAoOzP4O5dGNpZlzIZ5qtU94lwiD4hKDFh O85ZkbbjZs97h1mqhArdZRBYUYyuHA== =W+x6 -----END PGP MESSAGE----- --6sX45UoQRIJXqkqR-- **************************************************************** After decryption, the ciphertext results in an embedded MIME message, which in turn contains an attachment. The embedded message is displayed after decryption, including the attachment which is shown as a link the message window, but the message structure view displayed by kMail does not change and the attachment link is not effective, clicking it is a no-op. Actually there seems to be no way to save the deencrypted attachment using kmail2. This worked file with kmail 1. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Receive an exncrypted message structures as described above. Actual Results: An attachment is displayed as a link inside the message window, but the link cannot be opened / downloaded. There does not seem to be any way to view or save the attachment. Expected Results: The link / attachment should be downloadable / saveable.
fixed in 4.7.4./master
I still get this bug on 4.7.4 on Gentoo.
And I still get this bug with KDE SC 4.8.1 on Gentoo
The bug is still present in KDE 4.10.5
