With kmail import procedure, the problem is that the system recognizes the file incorrectly. If you try to check the file with right-click, properties, one is email format and one txt format.

Which extension has your email file ?
Comment 4 Rodolfo 2011-12-20 12:31:13 UTC
Not real extension, kmail make name automatically:
1296472053.1592.lyuVn_2,S
1296471259.1592.dk6Nx_2,RS
are the names of files that I attached.
It's very easy for you to understand, if you control the files.

Yes but it's text file :)
Comment 6 Rodolfo 2011-12-20 14:33:20 UTC
Yes, both of them.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Comment 8 Denis Kurz 2017-01-07 21:56:13 UTC
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
