Version: 1.99.0 (using Devel) OS: Linux Take a mail that has a long header line, i.e. > 1000 characters (which is the limit that SMTP gives). This lines are wrapped. A good example (where I first hit the problem) is a DKIM signature, e.g. from Amazon. When this mail is forwarded as attachment the wrapping is removed, leading to an invalid SMTP transfer. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: Create a mail with a wrapped long line and forward this as attachment. Actual Results: The wrapping is removed. Expected Results: The formatting of the header shouldn't be messed up. OS: Linux (i686) release 3.1.0-1.2-desktop Compiler: gcc
Happens also when simply bouncing the mail to someone else.
Could you me an email with this pb in private message ?

I reopened it. this patchs fixed bug but breaks other method.
This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
