Version: 2.4.0 (using KDE 4.7.3) OS: Linux Looking through pictures in preview mode, one can see the thumbbar on top of the picture preview. I think opinions differ, whether at switching to full-screen this thumbbar should be visible or not. Contra visibility: - Currently it is not visible - Some people might think: In fullscreen mode I want to have the full screen for my picture. Pro visibility: - I would like to have it visible, in order to have an orientation within the pile of pictures. With the thumbbar, I can e.g. see that there are five more pictures coming with my cat in the basket, so I can delete this one, since the focus is not very good. - I see "full screen" as hide left/right sidebar, the taskbar, the menu and window decorations. => show the stuff I want to see (picture and thumbnails at full screen) Switching the thumbbar on everytime with CTRL + T is very annoying, so I'm kindly asking to add an option for this. :) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start digikam 2. select album with picture -> thumbnail-view (no thumbnail-bar on top) 3. doubleclick/ENTER -> switch from "thumbnail view" to "image preview" (thumbnail-bar visible on top) 4. CTRL + SHIFT + F Actual Results: Switches to full screen view, but no thumbnail-bar visible on top Expected Results: Whether or not you initially see a thumbnail-bar in "full-screen preview mode" should be configurable through an digiKam option. I would suggest to add a new Checkbox to "Settings" -> "Configure DigiKam..." -> "Album View" under "Preview Options" and name it something like: "Show Thumbbar in full screen image preview"
Sorry, I forgot to set "Priority = WISH". Can anyone change this please? Seems I don't have the right to do this. Wish related with: Bug #289260 and Bug #289262
I installed digikam 2.5.0 yesterday and there I found a new Option: Settings -> Configure Digikam -> Editor Window -> Hide thumbbar in fullscreen mode Disabling this option leeds exactly to the desired behaviour as explained in the bug description. => Wish fullfilled! Thanks alot!
