- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Install new network printer
using the CUPS provided PPDs does work
taking the one provided by kyocera crashes the wizard.
i can install the PPD from the CUPS admin page.
if i change settings afterwards in SystemSettings/Printer Configuration, it crashes again, but the new settings remain.

The crash can be reproduced every time.
