I ran amarok in debug mode and got this (part)

Version: 2.4.90 (2.5 beta) (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS: Linux

Hello,

when I have a playlist, it happens pretty often that the next track is skipped and it continues to the next one. It happens if I click on next track or it's going by itself (end of song).
It happens fairly often, when I click on next track, it's about 1 every 2 tracks that is skipped.

If I click on previous track or force it by clicking on the track skipped in the playlist it is played.

I ran amarok in debug mode and got a warning (see attachment):
amarok: [WARNING] [EngineController] Phonon failed to play this URL. Error: ""
amarok: [WARNING] [EngineController] Forcing phonon engine reinitialization.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Set up a playlist and let it play.

Actual Results:
Some tracks are skipped

Expected Results:
I expected to have all the tracks played.

OS: Linux (i686) release 3.0.0-14-generic
Compiler: gcc

Which Phonon backend do you use? What type of files are the tracks skipped? How long are those?
FWIW: this is probably a bug of the phonon-backend-gstreamer that tends to skip FLAC files. If this is the case I suggest you use the phonon-backend-vlc instead.

Hello,

I tested on a few tracks and playlist and it seems to work fine. I didn't suspect the phonon because the tracks could be played correctly.

thank you for your help.

regards

Julien
