Version: unspecified (using Devel) OS: Linux I am using KDE 4.7.90 on Arch Linux. When I click on the Kickoff menu, the animation starts below the panel. I took a screenshot that will better illustrate what's going on. I snapped the picture immediately after clicking the "K" icon on the bottom left of the panel to open the Kickoff menu. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: Click on the K icon to launch Kickoff Actual Results: Kickoff starts animiating belowt he panel Expected Results: Kickoff has always animated just above the panel.
Same here, but it not a kickoff-only bug, all other panel widget animations are drawn from a bottom of the screen (and on top of the panel): calendar, networkmanagement, battery, notifications, etc. See the attachment with calendar widget animation screenshot. Reproducible: Always
