Version: 1.7 (using KDE 4.7.2) OS: Linux I have files mounted remotely via NFS. If Dolphin has an NFS-mounted directory open the system will not enter sleep mode. If an application (okular, for example) has a file open then all is well. It is just an issue when Dolphin has the directory open. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Open NFS-mounted directory then try to enter sleep mode Actual Results: The system tries to sleep but complains that a task will not sleep. Expected Results: The system would sleep.
Accessing NFS mounted folders is handled in the same way as local file access as far as KIO and Dolphin is concerned; that is, by the 'file' ioslave. The NFS ioslave in kio-extras provides access to remote NFS servers (without the need for mounting) via URLs starting "nfs://host/". Reassigning to frameworks-kio/general.
Is this still an issue?
