Version: 1.99.0 (using KDE 4.7.3) OS: Linux installing fresh F16 using the old home folder, the migration starts and finishes pretty fast. no mails are present after migration inside kmail2 no calendar items are present either. all folders and sub-folders are present. all accounts are present. all identities are present. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: have no idea how to reproduce the migration process, that might be a good start. Actual Results: no mail and calendars Expected Results: mail and calendar items migration. OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.1.0-7.fc16.x86_64 Compiler: gcc
update your folder please F5 (each folder). It will work.
did that, still no mails. tried using the context menu too, didn't work. tried getting new mails using check mail, nothing came, although I do have new mail waiting... Thanks, YB.
I have tried to erase and restore my home dir for another try of migration, this time I found out how to view the calendars. still can't get the mails to show or arrive. Thanks, YB.
this is really frustrating, now for the fourth time I have recreated my home dir, let the migration happen, and allegedly succeed. but no mails are available, for some reason now it is looking for the folder ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail/cur but this folder never existed... I think I will just download and install Fedora 15. I really don't understand why this bug status is RESOLVED or INVALID, a whole week almost is ruined now for that bug.
