Description Dan 2011-12-03 17:14:05 UTC
Version: 2.5-git (using Devel)
OS: Linux

The Senzari website was launched with millions of songs and it seems nice... is it possible to Amarok support this service? It would be a nice alternative to last.fm...

Thanks.

In what country is this available? Apparently not In Germany as I can't even go beyond that message in the website. Do they have an API?

It was launched in Brazil and it works fine ;)

"Hajjar says Senzari has managed to secure the licensing rights for radio webcasting in the U.S., Brazil and Spain, which allows it to operate outside the U.S. (Spain’s launch comes later this month)".

I don't know if they have an API, but they could be contacted by Amarok developers... maybe they're interested in provide an API...

Thanks.

Since I can't access the website from here could you please check their terms and services and search the website for an API and maybe attach that as a tarball to this wish?
AFAIK none of our developers resides in either Brazil nor Spain, so they will not be able to access that either, and implementing a service which is not available to use will certainly be rather difficult.

IMHO a service with no worldwide coverage doesn't look that interesting, and we already have a very portent podcast service and several scripts that allow access to online radio stations as well as the last.fm service.

Ok, I see.

Unfortunately the site doesn't provide a link with any terms of service :(

Here's the contact of the main responsible by Senzari:
