Kailed,

Just to make your bug report more complete, can you answer the following questions please.

Which version of Adobe Flash player plugin are you using?
(eg: I am using version 11.1.102.55)

Are you using Adobe Flash player plugin?
(eg: some people use Gnash - GNU Shockwave Flash player)

Which version of Qt are you using?
(in command line, you can do
$ kde4-config --version
)

Is your os system version 32bits or 64bits?

What is the kernel version of your system?
(eg. Linux 3.0.0-14-generic-pae
in command line:
$ uname --kernel-release
)

regards, Gérard

Ok... I assume you must be Daniele Tombolini. Over at bug _734715_ at novell, you entered Linux i686. So, your os system must be 32bits.

regards, Gérard

This backtrace also shows the webkit engine in use.

This crash is completely unrelated to flash the flash crash at all. It is instead related to a known crash that has already been reported upstream. See http://webkit.org/b/72285.

And I forgot to add that this backtrace is very similar to a reproducible crash in Adobe's flash player 11.1 on a 64 bit machines. The issue seems to have been resolved by Adobe with the 11.2 beta releases. See http://webkit.org/b/66839.

I am resolving this ticket as UPSTREAM. If you have any KHTML engine related crashes, please open a new ticket against the "khtml" or "nspluginviewer" components.

Now with kde-4.7.4 things seem a bit better. Switched back to khtml, now nspluginviewer crash very often but at the least konqueror resist !

I don't know if is a flash issue (for sure without plugins konquer does not crash) but no problem with firefox and chromium...
See you soon in nspluginviewr component :)

This upstream "bug" seems to be the issue for me (too). I had it with KDE 4.7.3, then with 4.8.0 too, on OpenSuse 12.1 64bit.

Issue disappeared when I upgraded to Flash 11.2 Beta.

So if you experience any Konqueror crashes and you have Flash 11.1, 64 bit than
this is your issue.

Get it from here and read instructions (manual copying needed):
