I couldn't reproduce the bug or find any duplicates.
Comment 2 Alexey Khudiakov 2011-12-03 22:44:46 UTC
It looks like a #279026 duplicate.

1. Crash in the code which converts QSring to int
2. "before changing desing i installed the xtra datas for kstar"

If removal of asteroids.dat and comets.dat fixes problem it is it.
Comment 3 eks.konoko 2011-12-04 13:06:48 UTC
after deinstallation and new installation of kstars without the asteroids.dat it doesn´t work again...
can´t start first time
Comment 4 Myriam Schweingruber 2011-12-07 14:16:56 UTC
Please try erasing the configuration file: $HOME/.kde4/share/config/kstarsrc
