Is this crash still an issue in the latest stable version of KDE, v4.13 or higher?
Comment 11 Don 2014-05-05 01:14:47 UTC
I do have other systems with newer versions of KDE. Fedora 19 and Korora
20 as well. But, I don't remember for sure, if this problem persists in
them. Sorry... I tried to login to make this comment. But, can't
remember my password or find it now...

Comment 13 Don 2018-09-25 07:14:20 UTC
I don't know if this happens in KDE Desktop. I don't use KDE, I use Mate Desktop, now in Fedora 28. I do still have a Fedora 14 System. But, seldom use it. I have had Krusader crash at times, when doing Local File Syncing. But, don't remember the details, of what was going on at the time.

Thanks,
Don

There are good chances your crash was due to unmatching libraries version of kio and kio-extras :
Preview tried to create an QImage from memory passed from the thumbnail kio-extras ioslave, but the memory it expected to be an image was not and provoked the crash.
